Basic course - glassblowing - week 28

Now there is an opportunity for those of you who have previously shown interest to book a 5-day basic course with us at Kosta Glasbruk in the summer of 2024 during v.28 Monday - Friday. During your days with us, you will gain knowledge about the basics of glassblowing.The elements included are both theoretical and practical. We will go through what glass is, concepts and terms, but also the history of Kosta Glasbruk. You visit both the Kosta Art Gallery for inspiration and our display workshop to see glass blowing by our masters.In the cabin, you will learn how to handle the glass in one of our melting furnaces, shape, blow, sculpt and then grind, and then be able to take what you have made home with you.
