Cycling in Kosta

Feel the wind in your hair as you steer the bike through the Småland forest over hills and past rocks. In Kosta, there are several different cycle paths of varying difficulty, from beginners and families with children to the adventurous professional.

Around Kosta there are several cycle and mountain bike trails. For the adventurous, there is a classic mountain bike trail, the Kosta Safari Trail, with built obstacles and nice curves around the Kosta Safari Park. Here there are both green and black sections with names such as Rävtjutet and Trandansen. Starting from Kosta Lodge, the trail around the Safari park is 11 km long. Around the various lakes in Kosta, there are several different scenic cycle paths for those who want to enjoy the peace and nature.

At Kosta Lodge there are maps of the various trails and bikes to rent for the whole family, here there is also the possibility to buy pre-packed lunch bags, perfect to take with you during the bike tour.
